Over the Hills and Far Away!

practicing by competing in the Giants Head Marathon in June!
Also on the 15th September Copyrite's Denise Day will be attemping another marathon for charity, but this one's a bit different from London!

The Purbeck Marathon is 26.2 miles of course, starting and finishing in Swanage, but also consists of over 2000ft of elevation over the Purbeck hills taking in such picturesque places as Kingston, Worth Matravers, Tynham Village and Corfe Castle on the way.

Denise is hoping to complete the marathon in 6.5 hours and in the process raise some money for Poole Hospital Charity. There is no minimum sponsorship so all the money she raises will go to the charity.

If you would like to help reach her self imposed target of £250, you can do so safely on her moneygiving page.

Running the Rose Road. . .

. . .not to mention swimming, and cycling!

On September 15th an amateur team of athletes from Copyrite will be taking part in the Rose Road Triathlon to raise money for the Rose Road Association, which has been working with children, young people and their families across Hampshire and the surrounding areas since 1952.
The children who attend the Association have multiple and complex health needs, and there are provided with a range of services and opportunities for both them and their carers.

Our star team (none of whom have taken part in a triathlon before!) consists of Ava Lambert, John Grey, Scott Bennett and Chris Beale.
The event is a mini-triathlon consisting of swim 200 metres, cycle 7.5 miles, and run 2.5 miles.

If you would like to help the team achieve their £100 target you can donate safely on their justgiving page. Thanks so much!
