20 Years and Still Going Strong!

We'd like to tell you a little story. . .
Are you sitting comfortably? then we'll begin. .
Once upon a time, 20 years ago this year, there were 2 humble photocopier salesman who wanted to make the world of business a little nicer place. They decided to put their knowledge together, and formed a partnership focusing on customer care and value for money.

They worked very hard, and sometimes it was tough going, but 20 years later they are no longer just Ian Stewart and Phil Ford, but an expanding business, currently employing a 55 strong staff, and supporting over 1500 happy customers.
They started by selling photocopiers and service locally, but now the business (based in Wimborne) covers the whole of the south of England (and reaches further afield if customers have remote sites), and includes Managed Print Services, business software, a separate IT division which covers all aspects of IT including hosting, cloud computing, hardware and network support, and a separate Web division designing websites and providing email and SEO.
On the way Copyrite has expanded its customer base further through several business acquisitions, and now has a second office in Southampton.

We are delighted to announce and celebrate the 20th anniversary of Copyrite, Ta-Da!
Where will we be in another 20 years? Stay with us to find out. . .the journey's not over yet!

Peaked Again!

Copyrite's Katie Clark will soon be joining the ranks of our resident intrepid explorers as this summer she is attempting to walk the 3 highest peaks in the UK (or Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in 24 hrs for charity

The Three Peaks Challenge (to give it its official name) has become a bit of a favourite here at Copyrite, with Katie's team being the third and latest (but probably not the last!) to attempt this difficult challenge while raising money for good causes.

Katie was going to be walking with 4 other team mates but as 2 members are now unable to take part she has decided to do the challenge as part of an organised event.

Katie's chosen charity is Crohn's and Colitis UK which aims to improve life for everyone affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

The minimum sponsorship is £550 but Katie would like to raise as much as possible.
If you would like to help, please donate what you can on her fundraising page

Katie will soon be starting her arduous training, which will apparantly include some route marches along the Purbeck hills under the instruction of MD Phil Ford, no stranger to 'three peaking' himself.

Good Luck with that Katie, Phil doesn't take prisoners!

New Web Website!

Criterion Web, our Web design division, has a new website designed by. . . yes, you've guessed it. . themselves!

David and Chris Beale, who run the web division, and provide Web Design, Search Engine Optimisation, Business Application Development, cloud hosting and hosted exchange email, are depicted as cartoon characters on the home page.
To be honest we cant see any difference from the real thing, but see what you think. . . !
To see the Cartoon versions, visit the new site, you'll need to let the animations run to spot them though. .

If you are looking for an innovative, creative, results driven, web services company to manage your business website, contact them via email, or phone Copyrite on 01202 848866

Aaah, Paris! (or: London to Paris the scenic route)

Copyrite's Diane Littlecott is a member of an unusual cycling group called the New Forest Pedallers. It is formed mainly from Littlecott family members and as their website says
"We are not club cyclists, just a group of family and friends who want to make a difference to the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves and have some family fun along the way"

The group was formed in 2012 in, would you believe it, a pub! (Don't all the best ideas start that way. . ?). What started out as a small cycling expedition for a couple of enthused cyclists has ended up as a team of 10 pedallers supported by assorted wives and girlfriends.

And so, the planning process began for their first intrepid fundraising adventure which is to be a four day long, 203 mile ride from London's Trafalgar Square, all the way to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. They intend to set off on the 25th May and hope to be drinking wine and eating cheese on the Champs-Elysees 4 days later on 29th May!

They hope to raise up to £15,000 on the way for the charity Naomi House and Jack's Place, who provide hospices and hospice care for children and young adults.

If you would like to help them reach their target for this worthy cause you can do so safely online at their justgiving page

In addition the group are looking for corporate sponsors, if you are able to help, please contact Diane here at Copyrite for further details.
