Mud, Sweat and Tears!

Just this weekend an intrepid team of keen mountain bikers from Copyrite tackled a 2 hour endurance race (part of the Merida Brass Monkeys series) at Caeser's Camp, Aldershot in Hampshire.
It was a day of immense ups and downs in more ways than one for many, as the flinty and gritty nature of the course took its toll, with lots of punctures and brake pad wear causing the outcome of the races to be pretty much last man (or woman) standing!
The event mixed a 4 hour race, the 2 hour race which our team were in, and a fun category for beginners.

The final Copyrite team consisted of (in no particular order) Phil Ford, John Grey, Simon Foxley, Ava Lambert, Paul Lambert, Ollie Ford, Chris Cheney, and Ken Cheney

L to R: Simon, Paul, Ava, Ollie, Ken, Chris, John, Phil
Our official photographer for the day was Adam Willsher. Well done Adam for all the great pictures!
Have a look at some of the days action below. (We apologise in advance for the extensive use of Lycra in these pictures. . .!)

Ken's in high spirits!
Phil raring to go!
And he's off!
closely followed by John. .
. . and Paul, biding his time!
Simon, obviously not taking things too seriously!
Ava, making it look easy!
Simon's just seen the size of the hill. .
Ollie's playing it cool
And Paul looks like he's done this just a few times before. . .

Chris is looking determined
While Ken is looking very careful!
There were plenty of mud baths!
And Ollie looks like he's been eating it too!
The look on Simon's face says it all. .
John's coming in to land
Team Lambert!
Phil looks like he's just realised he got a lot of bike washing to do!

All in all a great day (and a great mud fest!) was had by everyone.
Incidentally if you like our fantastic team cycling jerseys, they were made to order by Owayo, a custom sports kit supplier, whose customer service turned out to be second to none.

(No Lycra was harmed in the making of this report. . .)

Think Pink?

We're not afraid to get in touch with our feminine side here at Copyrite!
Everyone came to work wearing something pink today as part of the Breast Cancer Campaign's Wear it Pink Day and we raised in excess of £60
If you're not too scared to look, here a few of the sights on offer. . .

Adam, pretty conservative. . .

David, less so. . . .

Feathers and Frivolousness abound!. . .

John. . .yes well what can we say. . . full marks for effort!

Three Peaks in Three Days

A couple of weeks ago Copyrite Directors Ian Stewart and Phil Ford 'treated' 2 of our customers to a leisurely stroll around the UK Three Peaks, which if you didn't already know, are Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon!

Just to make it a more enjoyable experience than trying to cram it all into 24 hours, and also to give more time to appreciate the scenery, they decided to do a peak a day over 3 days.

Martin Ford-Horne from Coles Miller and Tracy Nuttall from Advantage Healthcare dusted off their walking boots and trekking poles and entered whole heartedly into the challenge!
Copyrite's Tracy Jolliffe was one of the support crew/drivers and the team was also joined by Bill Elliott (walker) and Paul Higgs (support crew/driver)

L to R - Martin, Tracy, Ian & Bill (Ian is wearing a silly hat & false beard we'd just like to point out!)
Given that the weather wasn't the best for climbing mountains they all seemed to stay in high spirits, even when it was chucking it down!

Enjoy the photos below!
